After School Program

Our after school program gives kids the opportunity to play, learn, and unplug outdoors.
Our curriculum is mostly emergent with an emphasis on free play. We intentionally teach positive conflict resolution and problem solving skills. Other activities include hikes in local woods, gratefulness practice, crafts, games, singing, outdoor cooking, collecting foods from our CCNS garden, and care for chickens and rabbits. Students need to be prepared to play and learn outdoors. Outdoor clothing, water resistant jackets, pants and boots will be required to make sure everyone can enjoy and learn comfortably. Students will be picked up from Leschi Elementary at the end of the school day. Kids from other schools meet us there. End of the day pick up time is flexible depending on families' schedules. Hours
Central Connections Nature School’s After School program operates from September to June following the Seattle Public School schedule. Days of operation are Monday - Friday Tuition for the 2023-2024 School Year Annual tuition is based on the number of days in the school year divided into ten equal monthly payments. Students can enroll from one to five days per week. Tuition is due the first of each month. A sliding scale is available if cost is a barrier for your family. 1 day per week - $125/month 2 days per week - $250/month 3 days per week - $375/month 4 days per week - $500/month 5 days per week - $575/month |
